Late-Comers to Class

First-time students are required to arrive 15 minutes early to complete the questionnaire. Admittance is not permitted for first-timers once class has started.

Returning students may enter up to 10 minutes after class has begun, but you’ll be required to lift your knees 40 times prior to joining class. If class has been in session for more than 10 minutes, returning students will not be permitted to join. We strictly adhere to this policy for the safety of our clients.

Socks are required. Also, everyone must wear workout pants (below the knee) and a top that covers your tummy.

No one under the age of 16 is permitted at The Bar Method Miami. This includes taking class and sitting in the waiting area. We cannot allow you to bring your children to the studio. They may not sit in the lobby while you take class. We do not have the insurance or licenses for offering childcare. If you bring a child with you, we will have to ask you both to leave. Children between the ages of 16 and 17 may attend class, but must have a signed PARENTAL PERMISSION AND CONSENT WAIVER.

Language Requirement

Our teaching technique involves mostly spoken instructions (without a lot of demonstration) and individualized verbal corrections. For everyone’s safety, we CAN NOT ALLOW anyone to take class if they do not speak fluent English. We cannot permit a friend or relative to try to translate the class because this is a disruption to other students.

Class Cancellation Policy

You may cancel online or by phone up until 60 minutes prior to the start of class with no charge. If you do not cancel and do not show up to class, you will be charged a $15 no-show fee. If you cancel late (within 59 minutes of the class start time), you will be charged a $7 late cancel fee. We cannot accept cancellations (or reservations) via email. Our cancellation policy is in place to be fair to all clients on the waitlist for class.

No Food or Drinks Allowed in the Studio

Capped water bottles are allowed. Only clear liquids are permitted in the studios. Please do not bring glass or uncapped drinks into the exercise studio. No chewing gum allowed.

Please do not take class if you are sick with a cold or flu. If you are hospitalized or need surgery, you may put a medical freeze on your account for free. A doctors note is required for a medical freeze.
